About Mutineers Charter Services — Veteran-Owned, USCG Licensed

Every charter company claims they're "safe" and "professional." The difference with Mutineers is that it's not a marketing line — it's backed by documentation, credentials, and a military service record.

Over 30 years of professional maritime experience and certifications from the U.S. Coast Guard and American Red Cross stand behind every Mutineers Charter Services charter. Founded by Master Captain Mitch, Mutineers is a veteran-owned yacht charter and boat rental company built on military values of safety, integrity, and service — operating three luxury yachts on Lake Lewisville.

Master Captain Mitch
— Founder

Captain Mitch holds a USCG Master Captain license — the highest captain credential issued by the United States Coast Guard, authorizing him to operate vessels of any tonnage in inland waters. He has logged over 30 years of professional maritime experience across commercial and recreational operations.

  • USCG Master Captain License — authorized to operate vessels of any tonnage in inland waters
  • First Aid Certified — U.S. Coast Guard
  • CPR Certified — American Red Cross
  • Veteran — U.S. military service background

Captain Mitch personally captains charters on Lake Lewisville and oversees all vessel maintenance across our luxury yacht fleet — the Gypsy Danger, Whiskey Danger, and Stranger Danger. He didn't start Mutineers to run a business from behind a desk — he's on the water with your group, handling navigation, managing weather decisions, and making sure every detail runs the way it should. He founded Mutineers Charter Services on the principle that a charter company should operate with the same discipline, preparation, and accountability he learned in military service.

Captain Mitch has personally led over 1,000 charters on Lake Lewisville.

Captain Diana

Captain Diana is a licensed captain with Mutineers Charter Services, bringing professional experience from both the charter industry and the medical field. Her dual background in maritime operations and emergency medical response makes her uniquely qualified for guest safety on the water — if something happens aboard, she doesn't just know boats, she knows first response.

  • Captain's License — USCG licensed for charter vessel operation
  • Medical Field Background — trained in emergency response and patient care
  • Service-Oriented — focused on guest comfort and experience quality

Veteran-Owned — What That Means

Mutineers Charter Services is not just "veteran-owned" as a marketing badge. Captain Mitch's military background shapes how the company operates every single day:

are modeled on military operational checklists — not improvised on the dock before departure. Every charter runs through a pre-departure checklist: equipment inspection, weather assessment, guest safety briefing, and communication system check.

follows preventive schedules, not reactive repairs. All three yachts are serviced on a fixed calendar — not when something breaks. Annual Coast Guard inspections are the minimum, not the standard.

emphasizes situational awareness, communication, and guest safety. Every crew member knows the emergency protocol before they ever step aboard with guests.

reflect the discipline of military service — showing up on time, prepared, and professional. When Captain Mitch says the charter starts at 2 PM, the boat is ready, the music is on, and the ice is in the cooler at 1:55.
