Boat Charter Service Areas Across the DFW Metro
Captained boat charters for the Dallas-Fort Worth metro all run from one place - Lake Lewisville. Mutineers serves private groups across DFW, and every trip launches from the same home base on the lake rather than from your home city.

Where Every Charter Launches

1No boats parked in your city
There are no boats parked in Dallas, Frisco, or Fort Worth. You drive to the lake; we provide the vessel, the route, and a licensed captain. Each booking is a captained boat rental on Lake Lewisville run by the same crew, no matter which DFW city you start from.
2One launch point for the whole metro
Every Mutineers charter launches from Arrowhead Park in Hickory Creek, on the south shore of Lake Lewisville. This single launch point is why we can serve the whole metro without running separate locations in each city.
3Parking & when to arrive
Parking at Arrowhead Park is $5 per vehicle per day, paid by card or debit only - the park does not take cash. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your booked start time so the group can load and the captain can run the safety briefing before you head out.
4Your drive time
Because the launch point never changes, your drive time depends only on where you set out from in DFW.
5Licensed, inspected & insured
Every charter is run by a USCG Master Captain with more than 30 years on the water. Mutineers is veteran-owned, Texas Parks and Wildlife inspected, and commercially insured.
Charters for Dallas
Dallas is the one service area with its own dedicated page, because it sends the largest share of our groups and sits on a clean I-35E run to the lake. If you are booking from the city, start there for the local drive-time detail and what to expect. Every other DFW city is served from the same lake launch, covered in the list below.

DFW Cities We Serve
Mutineers serves private groups from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, all launching from Lake Lewisville. The cities we regularly host include the metro's core and the surrounding suburbs.
These are served-from-the-lake areas, not separate launch points. Whichever city you come from, the boat, the captain, and the meeting spot are the same: Arrowhead Park on Lake Lewisville.
Grouped by route, not exact minutes
How Far Is the Lake?
Lake Lewisville sits on the north side of the metro in Denton County, on the I-35E corridor, which puts it within an easy DFW drive for most groups. Downtown Dallas is about 25 minutes north via I-35E in normal traffic. Beyond Dallas, drive time depends on your corridor, so the routes below are grouped by direction.
Arrowhead Park · the lake
Lake-adjacent
Denton, Lewisville, and Flower Mound border or sit next to the lake, so they have the shortest drive.
South via I-35E
Dallas groups run a straight shot up I-35E to the lake.
North and east
Frisco, Plano, and The Colony come down from the north side of the metro.
West
Fort Worth is the longest haul because it sits at the far west of the metro, so westside groups should build in an arrival buffer before the booked start.

Why a USCG-Licensed Captain

Every Mutineers charter is run by a USCG-licensed Master Captain, which matters because not every operator on Lake Lewisville is licensed or inspected. A licensed captain is held to federal safety and vessel standards, so your group can focus on the day instead of on driving the boat or staying sober to do it.
The same captain handles the route, the docking, and the on-water safety briefing. That is the difference between a captained charter and renting a boat you have to pilot yourself.
Service-Area Pricing
Pricing is the same regardless of which DFW city you travel from, because every charter launches from the same lake and runs the same vessels and crew. Your city does not change the rate - the boat, group size, and length of the charter do.
Do you keep boats in my city?
No. Every Mutineers charter launches from Arrowhead Park on Lake Lewisville, so there are no boats stationed in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, or any other DFW city. You travel to the lake and the captained vessel meets you there.
Which DFW cities do you serve?
Private groups from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, including Dallas, Lewisville, The Colony, Frisco, Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Denton, Plano, and the surrounding suburbs. Every one of those areas is served from the same launch point on Lake Lewisville.
Which city should I choose when I book?
It does not change anything operationally - all charters depart from Lake Lewisville no matter which DFW city you live in. Pick the option that matches where you are driving from so the captain can give you accurate arrival guidance.
How far is Lake Lewisville from Dallas?
About 25 minutes north of downtown Dallas via I-35E in normal traffic. Denton and Lewisville are closer, and Fort Worth is a longer drive from the west side of the metro.
Is Dallas the closest major city to the lake?
No. Denton and Lewisville are closer because they border the lake. Dallas sends the most groups, which is why it has its own dedicated page.
Does my city affect the price?
No. The rate is the same from any DFW city because every charter launches from the same lake with the same vessels and crew. Group size, charter length, and the vessel you book set the price.
