Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Mutineers Charter Services ("Mutineers," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.mdm-charters.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website, or a service embedded in it, stores on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember preferences, and to understand how a site is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.
2. How we use cookies
We keep our own use of cookies to a minimum. We do not run our own website analytics or advertising trackers. Most of the cookies set when you visit our site come from a few third-party features we embed, described below.
3. Types of cookies on our site
Strictly necessary
Our website host and content-delivery network may set essential cookies that keep the site secure and running (for example, to manage traffic and protect against abuse). These cannot easily be switched off without affecting how the site works.
Functional
We load web fonts so the site displays correctly. Some embedded features may use functional storage to remember basic settings while you use them.
Third-party features
Certain pages include features provided by third parties that may set their own cookies, as listed in the next section. We do not use our own marketing or advertising cookies.
4. Third-party services we embed
- Booking form — our contact page includes a booking form provided by a third-party form and customer-management provider. It may set cookies or use storage needed to operate the form and prevent spam.
- Background video (YouTube) — our home page features a background video served by YouTube (a Google service). When it loads, YouTube/Google may set cookies on your device under their own policies.
- Web fonts (Google Fonts) — we use Google Fonts to display the site's typefaces. This involves a request to Google's servers but does not normally set advertising cookies.
These third parties set and control their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing the policies of Google/YouTube and of any platform you reach us through.
5. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete cookies that are already stored. Helpful controls include:
- Your browser's privacy or cookie settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others).
- Google's ad and privacy controls for Google/YouTube services.
Please note that blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site — such as the booking form or the background video — work.
6. Consent
Where cookie consent is required by the law that applies to you, you can manage cookies using the browser controls described above. If we add an on-site consent banner in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our website and the services it uses change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Questions? Call (214) 277-9102, text (903) 413-5431, or use our contact page.
