Charter Pricing & Packages — Lake Lewisville

Most people planning a boat charter want to know two things before they call: how much does it cost, and what's included in that price?

Charter pricing with Mutineers Charter Services covers four captained vessels on Lake Lewisville, each with different capacities, amenities, and rate structures. As a veteran-owned company, we provide transparent pricing that includes your USCG Master Captain, crew, safety equipment, and onboard sound system — no hidden fees, no fuel surcharges, no booking add-ons.

Most weekends during peak season (May–September) book 2–3 weeks in advance.

What Does a Charter Actually Cost Per Person?

When you break down the cost per guest, a captained yacht charter on Lake Lewisville is comparable to a night out in Dallas — except you get 4 hours on the water with your own private vessel, captain, and crew.

Off-season weekday on the Delta (8 guests): $468 ÷ 8 = $58.50 per person for a 4-hour private charter.

Weekday on the Stranger Danger (24 guests): $1,268 ÷ 24 = approximately $53 per person.

Weekend morning on the Whiskey Danger (30 guests): $2,068 ÷ 30 = approximately $69 per person.

Weekend midday (prime) on the Gypsy Danger (50 guests): $2,668 ÷ 50 = approximately $53 per person for the largest yacht on the lake.

Holiday on the Stranger Danger (24 guests): $1,868 ÷ 24 = approximately $78 per person.

Holiday Prime on the Gypsy Danger (50 guests): $3,068 ÷ 50 = approximately $61 per person for the July 4th Fireworks Evening Charter.

Captained Charter vs Self-Drive Rental

What’s Included in Every Charter

Included in Every Charter

  • Every charter includes: USCG-licensed captain and crew, safety equipment, onboard sound system (Bluetooth-compatible), swim deck access on all four vessels, onboard coolers, gas grill, water toys (lily pads, swim noodles, whale tails), and liability waivers.

  • Paddle boards may be available — availability varies by vessel and date. Confirm when booking.

  • Delta-specific: Towed/dragged floats are included in the charter price.

BYOB Policy

  • BYOB alcohol (beer, wine, champagne — guests 21+), drinks, food, and ice are welcome aboard. Mutineers Charter Services does not provide ice or towels — guests must bring their own.
  • Restrictions: No red drinks (red wine, fruit punch, etc.), no dishes containing rice, and no high heels on deck. These restrictions protect deck surfaces across all four vessels.
  • We do not coordinate catering. We provide recommendations and phone numbers for trusted local vendors. See our preferred vendors page for caterers, DJs, and party coordinators.

Life Jackets

Standard-size life jackets are provided for every guest, including standard children’s sizes. If you require special needs sizes (above XXL or very small children), you must provide your own Coast Guard–approved life jacket. Notify us when booking so we can confirm sizing.

Parking at Arrowhead Park

Arrowhead Park, Leg 1, Hickory Creek charges $5 per vehicle per day. Payment by ATM/debit/credit card only — no cash, no checks accepted. Plan accordingly.

How to Book

Why Mutineers Charter Services

Call or text (214) 277-9102 to discuss your event, group size, preferred date, and vessel selection. You can also email mdm.sales@outlook.com.

Secure your date with a 50% deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable and confirms your reservation. Payment accepted via Zelle, CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, ACH transfer, or credit card.

Pay the remaining balance 15 days prior to your charter date. Late payments may result in forfeiture of your reservation.

On the day of your charter, pay the $300 cash damage deposit directly to your captain upon boarding. This deposit is returned at the end of your charter if no damage or cleaning issues arise.
Charter time includes loading and unloading of the vessel. Your 4-hour session starts when the crew begins loading your group and supplies, so plan to arrive a few minutes early.

Decorations

Guests are welcome to bring their own banners, balloons, and themed props. There is a 10-minute dock load time — crew assists with decoration setup during the charter, not before departure. All decorations must be removable (no nails, staples, or permanent adhesives).

Weather & Cancellation Policy

Texas weather is unpredictable — rain and sunshine can alternate throughout a single day. Foul weather is an understood risk of any outdoor experience on the water.

Charters proceed if water conditions are safe. Canceling because of your personal assessment of the weather does not automatically warrant a refund. Unless the Coast Guard issues an advisory or prohibits watercraft from operating, any weather-related cancellation refund requires owner approval.

Rescheduling is attempted within reason, but vessels are typically booked 3–4 weeks out on weekends during peak season.

If the owner cancels due to unsafe conditions AND the guest wants to cancel day-of AND the cancellation is approved by the Fleet Commander: a minimum service fee applies, with the remaining balance offered as a refund or applied toward a rescheduled date. Prep work and staff costs justify the service fee.
